Advancing Aberystwyth
Advancing Aberystwyth ar y Blaen are a newly formed organisation set up to manage the Business Improvement District for the town of Aberystwyth. They are a business led organisation dedicated to making Aberystwyth a better place to live, work, and visit. It’s aim is to deliver a programme of projects targeted at improving the trading environment of Aberystywyth, that are in addition to those already provided by other organisations. It is managed by a board of directors who give up their time to work as volunteers for the good of the town.

Aim:
We started working with Advancing Aberystwyth in 2015.
The Aberystwyth BID for theTown Centre was in our view exactly what Aberystwyth needed in order to stimulate growth and also to maintain current trading conditions amidst the threat of online shopping and out of town developments.
The creation of a strong brand and corporate message was required in order to ensure that the project was looked at positively. The brand needed to be adopted by those involved and be recognizable instantly. We understood that the association with the brand should be both desirable and invoke feelings of pride and prestige.
How:
We used the information provided in the quotation document along with other information provided to create and develop a full brand.
This involved the creation of 4 brand concepts for consideration which would include: Colour palette, Logo in various formats for various uses and Font guidelines.
Once a concept was approved, we then created designs for a leaflet, stickers and the BID Proposal Document. Bilingual designs were vital in this process.
We then brokered a competitive price for printing and project managed the print process through to the final product.
