Kate and Stu Richards launched Nomadic Washrooms in 2019. Their unique business offers luxurious portable toilets and shower hires, styled as rustic shepherds huts, across the UK. In 2023, they sought out InSynch to help increase leads on their website.

The Client’s Aim:

The website was presented beautifully, and offered a unique range of luxurious units, but was not resulting in the level of conversions and leads Nomadic Washrooms wanted to see. The Richards knew their target market well, but needed help attracting them to the website. They chose us in part because of our experience of working with Welsh tourism businesses.

After their free marketing consultation, we agreed to improve the number and quality of leads on the website, using the following proven strategies:

What We Achieved

The aim when we first began working with Nomadic Washrooms at the beginning of 2023 was to increase their overall leads on our Total Digital Marketing package. Overall, we achieved results on all goals, and the Richards has been more than happy with the results. We continue to provide ongoing consultation for the best practice to see results. They continue to benefit from our holistic, bespoke design approach to their business needs.

To increase organic traffic from their target market, we looked into increase their search engine ranking positions for key search terms their audience were using. By implementing a range of effective search engine optimisation techniques, we were able to have Nomadic Washrooms’s website rank number 1 for several key search terms, including “wedding toilet hire”, “shepherds hut toilet hire”, and “wedding luxury portable toilets”.

For related popular keywords, they soon ranked within the first page of results. After 6 months, we recorded that organic traffic increased by 40%.

Website Conversion Optimisation

From the offset, Nomadic Washrooms had a beautifully presented website, though not quite geared towards reaping enquiries. We advised them with website design and development of content optimised towards lead generation. In addition, we implemented smaller changes for driving visitors from the homepage through to becoming quality, relevant leads.

Over the 3-month period, we saw an increase of 225% in the overall leads & conversions on the website. In terms of quality leads, the Richards informed us they were satisfied with the leads they were acquiring.

PPC

Nomadic Washrooms had tried Google Search campaigns already and were willing to go ahead with InSynch carrying out ads management on their behalf. The Richards knew their target audience well, and we used this insight to tailor the different campaigns towards them.

We kept a close eye on these campaigns, refining them and checking Google Analytics to ensure they returned better results each month. With our help, PPC ads increased leads, contact inquiries, and other conversions by 93% when compared on a month-to-month basis.

Digital Marketing Consultancy

Nomadic Washrooms has continued with their Total Digital Marketing package and expanded to include a number of additional services we provide. Though they wanted to handle the majority of these by themselves, we could still provide expert knowledge to assist them.

To help capture leads direct from the venues their customers would hire, we provided design and print services to create a number of high quality digital and printable distribution materials. We advised on an email marketing with the intent to capture event organisers for repeat business. Lastly, we consulted on a social media strategy, informing Nomadic Washrooms of the platform their customers were using most, such as Instagram and Pinterest.
