Black Mountains Smokery is a family-run gourmet food business based in the Brecon Beacons. Their award-winning smoked foods are carefully sourced from British suppliers and traditionally cured and smoked at their smokehouse in Crickhowell.
For several years InSynch has been working with Jo and Jonathan from Black Mountains Smokery on their digital marketing strategy helping the business to improve website sales and build a greater brand awareness. When it came to redeveloping the Black Mountains Smokery website we knew that in order to fully represent the luxury artisan brand and deliver important information about their products and services we would need to get the design just right. It was also extremely important that when designing the website it was consistent with the businesses current packaging and advertising material. The design for this website was created by InSynch’s in house design team. With our digital marketing background and knowledge of this business we were able to ensure that the website was built in a way that will aid customer navigation and help turn users browsing the site into customers.
A key aspect of managing a very busy online shop such as smoked-foods.co.uk is the back end of the website. The website needs to be easy to use from the owners perspective offering simple ways to keep track of orders, set new promotions and change product information.
