Agritel specialises in providing packaging machines, industrial packaging and waste compactor systems for a range of commercial industries. Established in 1997, Agritel has a long history of supplying wrap and twine to the agricultural industry, and it’s move into industrial packaging provided a road foundation for the expansion of the company. “Right from the outset, our aim has been to provide top-quality, value-for-money products supported by good, old-fashioned customer service,” says Managing Director, John Duffus. “Our online shop has enabled us to widen not only our geographical reach, but also to broaden our customer base and we’re delighted to find ourselves serving a huge variety of shoppers, from private individuals to multi-nationals.”
We started working with Agritel in late 2016, and our aim at the time was to utilise Facebook advertising and help give advice on this, as well as looking for other ways to boost enquiries on the ‘brochure’ site and increase sales from the online shop.
This then merged into an emphasis on upping telephone sales and then into pushing the sales of their machinery on both sites.
At first a lot of consultancy was given on how Agritel can best put out adverts and posts on Facebook and utilise their google ads and expand on these. A popup was put in place that triggered when users leave the website to see if they instead wanted to call the office and enquire, and this jumped telephone sales alone.
When Agritel decided to put their machinery for sale on their online site, we again gave ongoing consultancy on the best way to do so, set up and monitored ads on various platforms and gave advice on email marketing to push sales as well.
Search engine optimisation was also a big push from the beginning, as the ‘brochure’ site at the time was not well optimised and receiving little organic search traffic. We have assisted the client by giving advice and through a strategy that included Google Ads, Facebook Ads & Posts, Bing Ads, Remarketing on various platforms, Email marketing and consultancy every 6 weeks to help support their own knowledge of digital marketing.
Over the last 12 months InSynch have helped us with SEO, Google Ads, mentoring and design improvements to our online shop. Monthly sales through the shop have doubled since they started with us and enquiries from our brochure site have increased
